Light: Full sun for best flowering; tolerates partial shade

Soil: Very adaptable - clay, sand, or loam; drought tolerant once established

Central Missouri: A cold-hardier selection (roughly to zone 5-6) than standard mimosa, but the species overall is not generally recommended in Missouri - prone to mimosa vascular wilt disease and webworm, has weak/brittle wood, and can self-seed as a weedy tree
