Central Missouri: Marginal for reliable fruiting; the tree itself is cold-hardy (rated roughly zone 4/5-9), but like most apricots it blooms very early and central Missouri's late spring frosts frequently kill the blossoms/buds before fruit sets - 'Puget Gold' is self-fertile and later-blooming than many varieties, which helps somewhat but does not eliminate the risk
