Magnolia Royal Star 7 Gal

Growth: Slow

Light: Full sun to part shade; avoid southern exposures, which can trigger premature bud opening

Soil: Moist, organically rich, well-drained soil; tolerates clay but not soil extremes (very wet or very dry)

Central Missouri: Hardy zones 4-8 and generally well suited; because it flowers so early, blooms are vulnerable to damage from central Missouri's late spring freezes
